In contrast, rail-mounted energy meters feature a modular design with advantages including compact size, easy installation, and simple networking, making them ideal for terminal energy metering and facilitating the retrofitting of power circuits with energy meters.

The meter uses an LCD display to measure electrical energy and other electrical parameters. It allows for settings such as time, tariff periods, and features an electrical energy pulse output function. Data exchange with upper-level systems can be achieved via an RS485 communication interface.

Rail-mounted energy meters are compact, highly accurate, reliable, and easy to install. The product complies with all technical requirements for single-phase electronic energy meters as per the GB/T17215.321-2008 standard. It is suitable for sub-metering of electrical energy in government buildings and large public structures, as well as for energy management assessments in enterprises and institutions.
